Notice of Channel Lineup Changes MPW Digital TV
This month, ESPN will launch the all new SEC Network and MPW DigitalTV will add the new college sports network on or before August 31st on Channel 110 and HD 610.
During football season, with its regular Saturday tripleheaders, SEC Network will have more than 45 games involving teams in the NCAA’s Southeast Conference, including 18 in the first three weeks of the season. Coverage begins August 28th with Texas A&M at South Carolina, and by Week 4, all 14 teams will have hosted a game on the network.
The 24/7 schedule will feature familiar ESPN personalities in playby-play, pre and post-game shows, analysis, conference news, game highlights and replays. Overall, the SEC Network will broadcast 1,000+ events during the 2014-15 academic year, including more than 100 men’s basketball games, 60 women’s basketball games, 75 baseball games and 50 softball games.
Scheduled for a September debut, MPW DigitalTV will also be adding Fusion, a joint venture between Disney-ABC Television and Univision. Fusion will slide into the lineup on Channel 121 and HD 621 and will feature news, lifestyle, pop culture, satire and entertainment aimed at English speaking millennials, including those of a Hispanic background. The channel is Univision’s first major push into English language programming.
